Eastanbull and Whooshka came home first and second in a 2200m workout race at Cambridge Raceway.

The Kyle Marshall Racing pair were separated by a length as they finished in front of a seven-starter field that included stablemate Chalberg.

Driven by Kyle Marshall, Eastanbull is preparing for a new campaign after not racing since July last year.

The seven-year-old gelding is a winner of 20 lifetime races, earning almost $35,000 in stakes.

Whooshka came home second, a useful effort to build on her recent win at the Cambridge workouts.

In fifth place, the KMR-trained Chalberg was given a good workout with Ricki Herbert taking him to the front from the start.

Chalberg has not raced since last July but is looking to continue his career which included a win and three placings last season, earning almost $11,000 in stakes.
